Completion Installation Equipment
Blue Manta supplies the equipment required for deploying assorted lines (including control line, ESP cables and electric line) in standard, or bespoke load out packages. This can include workshops containers, spooling units, sheave wheels, pressure test equipment, including high pressure pump units complete with chart recorders, manifolds, hoses and other associated accessories.
All equipment is manufactured, maintained, calibrated and certified to the relevant industry standards. A full documentation package is included with all relevant certification including L.O.L.E.R, P.U.W.E.R, maintenance records and current calibration certification.

Air Operated Installation Kits to suit Control Line Clamps
Air Operated Installation Kits comprise various tools designed to help make up and torque all sizes of control line clamps. The Torque Wrenches are supplied calibrated to help ensure the correct torque is applied.
A typical Control Line Clamp Installation Kit contains the following items: 2 x Impact Wrench Guns c/w 20ft Air Hose c/w Quick Release Connectors, 2 x Torque Wrenches, 2 × 11mm Hex Sockets, 2 × 8mm Hex Bits, 2 × 10mm Hex Bits, 2 x Crows Foot or McDonald Crossovers, T-Bars, Pneumatic Regulator and Filter Assembly, Quick Release Connector and McDonald’s Connector.
The Air Operated Installation Kits can be assembled to suit customer’s specific requirements.
Encapsulation Strippers
Blue Manta supply Air Operated Strippers which can strip long lengths of encapsulation from single lines quickly, simply and safely.
Hand held strippers are also available for stripping 11mm x 11mm encapsulation on 1/4” tube or 15mm x 15mm on 3/8” tube.
Encapsulation Splitters
Blue Manta’s Air Operated Splitters are a simple and flexible tool which operate by pulling the flatpack safely through a cutting mechanism to split the encapsulation.
Hand Tool Boxes
Hand Tool Boxes are designed to complement Blue Manta Completion Installation Kits. They can be used offshore by the operator for tasks such as the preparation of control line and assembly of fittings.
A typical kit contains the following items: Hacksaw and Spare Blades, Hammer, 9/16 Spanners, ½ Spanners, 7/16 Spanners, Files, O.D Calipers, I.D Calipers, Punches, Wire Brush, Metric Allan Keys, Imperial Allan Keys, Pipe Benders, No 10 Shifter, Needle Files, Small Metric Tape Measure, Screw Drivers, 500ml Cylinder, Swak, NAS 6 Filter Assembly c/w Spare Filters, Vice Grips, Encapsulated Stripper Spare c/w a Spare blade to suit the Stripper, and Control Line Cutter c/w 1 x Spare Blade to suit cutter.
Additional items are also available at the customer’s request.
Air Manifolds and Hoses
Blue Manta Air Manifolds have one air inlet and three air outlet lines and come with 1 × 50ft hose and 3 × 30ft hoses. The hoses can be supplied with either Crows Foot or McDonald’s connections. The Manifold has four isolation valves – one for the inlet valve and one for each of the outlet valves – all complete with safety pins and whip checks.
Tubing and Casing Covers
Blue Manta Tubing and Casing Covers are ideal for eliminating the danger of losing small tools and fittings down the Well while carrying out intricate work during an installation. By covering the Well hole, the covers can catch any dropped items and prevent problems arising.
Two types are available:
Blue – 3 ½” to 7”
Red – 5 ½” to 9 5/8”
