Containers
Blue Manta can supply containers from an extensive range of sizes on a sale or rental basis. Our containers are designed in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 standards to protect and secure equipment for safe transportation offshore. They are also suitable for use as offshore workshops.
Electrical features available include twin 6ft lights, heaters, air conditioning and electric sockets (110v and 240v) – all supplied in accordance with ATEX standards, suitable for zones 1, 2 and 3.
A wide range of furniture and storage facilities are also available to suit customer’s individual requirements, including bench vices, Baker vices, drawer systems, maxi-bin storage cupboards and tool boxes – all supplied with PUWER certification.
All containers come with cargo nets or tarpaulins, document holders, anti-slip flooring and multiple tie down points for securing cargo.
Our Standard Size containers are 8ft wide and 9ft high. They are available in the following lengths: 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 14ft, 15ft and 20ft.
Our standard sizes can also be supplied as open top containers.
Our Mini Containers are 6ft x 6ft (length x width) and have a payload of 5250kgs. They are also manufactured to DNV standards and come with a removable shelf, a 4 inch stop, tie down points, a removable cargo net and a lockable door.
