Spooling Units
Blue Manta Spooling Units are ideal for running Control Line into the Well. The Units operate by creating back tension which stops the spool from free running and keeps the line tight. All spooling units are manufactured and designed in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 and EN12079 standards and fully guarded to meet PUWER Regulations. The spooling units are available in different sizes and come with various types of motors to suit all sizes and weights of spools. We can supply Standard Blue Manta Spooling Units and also bespoke units designed to meet customer requirements. Dual Spooling Units are also available which take 2 spools at any one time.

Spooler Winder System
This is a mechanically driven system, manually controlled, this unit will greatly assist in the neat spooling of line onto a drum, which can be extremely difficult at times. The unit is an add on item and can be easily removed when running into the well. Spooler winder storage unit available as an optional extra.

Hydraulic Rotary & Electric Slip Ring
We can also supply various ietms to ensure your spooling unit will be ready for your applications when you get it. These include: electric slip rings, hydraulic rotary, trollex adaptors to match your trollex, clamp assist tools, drum lifters etc. Please contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to fulfill your needs.

Sheave Wheels
We also supply three different types of Sheave Wheels to go with our Spooling Units. Our Single / Dual / Triple Line Horseshoe Type Sheave Wheels are ideal for directing Control Line from the Spooling Unit into the Well. All our Sheave Wheels are designed and tested in accordance withĀ DNVĀ 2.22 and Lloyds Code for Lifting Appliances in a Marine Environment (CLAME). The Wheelās Rollers can be made to suit any size of control line or hose. Blue Manta Sheaves also come complete with Keeper Wheels to ensure the line does not jump out of the end wheels, Gate Access to insert the line, Swivels, Safety Lines and a Safety Shackle to attach the Safety Line.

Spreader Beams
We can also supply four different types of spreader beams to go with our sheave wheels. Our spreader beams can take up to five sheaves at once, making the most out of a single hanging point. All our spreader beams are designed and tested in accordance with theĀ DNVĀ 2.22 and LloydsĀ LAMEĀ CH3. Our spreader beams also come with tie back points for the sheaves safety lines, also tie back points for the spreader beam to the rig.

Clamp Assist Tool
Blue Manta manufacture the Clamp Assist Tools which are able to accommodate any given size of Clamp that the operator requires and are manufactured by our Engineering team based on the Clamp drawing issued.
